Glass Restoration

Glass is perhaps the most versatile ingredient in architecture. But it is also a porous surface that requires substantial maintenance to keep its sparkle and protective qualities. Staining can occur when glass is not properly maintained, and in some circumstances, even if it is. The exterior glass and frames of commercial buildings are exposed daily to acid rain, precast runoff, metal oxidation, ultraviolet rays and misguided sprinkler heads. All of these can leave damaging deposits on the glass and frames, becoming deeply embedded and baked by the sun. These deposits, if left untreated, can become so deeply embedded that they leave the glass permanently etched. The only remedy for this is the very costly replacement of the glass.
